Baton Rouge, La. – The Baton Rouge community will be
focused on home-grown flavor for Thanksgiving during the Annual Sweet Potato
Sale hosted by the Minority in Agriculture Natural Resources and Related
Sciences (MANNRS), student organization.
MANNRS is currently taking orders for 40 pound boxes
of sweet potatoes for $20. Payment is required with your order in the form of
cash, checks and money orders. Checks and money orders should be made payable
to the SU MANNRS Chapter.
The deadlines to place an order is Friday, November
13.
Pick-ups will occur Thursday, November 19 from noon to
2 p.m. at the SU Ag Center – A.O. Williams Hall back parking lot.
