SU Ag Center’s Small Ruminant Field Day Venue has changed

Baton Rouge, LA - The Southern University Ag Center will hold a Small Ruminant Field Day on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Ashford O. Williams Hall, Southern University Ag Center, 181 B.A. Little Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70813.This educational event is open to everyone who is currently involved with goat and sheep production or those interested in learning more about raising small ruminants.

Topics will cover: Herd Health, Marketing, Forage Management, Composting, and much more; demonstrations & hands-on sessions include Wet Lab (Fecal Egg Count), Goat Meat Product Development & Tasting, and Practical Animal Husbandry Techniques.

There is no charge for this field day. Registration will begin at 8:00 am atAshford O. Williams Hall, Southern University Ag Center, 181 B.A. Little Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70813, and the program ends at 2:00 pm.
