Baton Rouge, La. – The College of
Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences hosted an Ice Cream Social and
Department Informational for its students on September 25 in Pinkie Thrift
Hall.
Dr.
Cheryl Atkinson, Chair of the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences
welcomed the students to the event and Dr. Orlando F. McMeans, Chancellor-Dean
of the College spoke to the students.
Drs.
Bernestine McGee, Samii Kennedy-Benson, Jung-Im Seo, Cheria Lane, Renita
Marshall, and student Aravian Louis also provided remarks during the program.
At the conclusion on the event, the students
were treated to ice cream with their choice of toppings.
