Available online: Video on Careers in Global Food Security and Plant Biosecurity
BATON ROUGE, LA, 6/24/2011-The Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center is poised to improve the quality of life for Louisiana residents. To this end, a video on Careers in Global Food Security and Plant Biosecurity has been produced targeting 4th-12th grade students encouraging them to consider careers in Global Food Security.

The video will broadcast locally in South Louisiana on cable TV Channel 21 (LA Hometown Productions) beginning the week of July 4.
This video production was funded by USDA/NIFA 1890 Capacity Building Grant on outreach to K-12 schools in plant biosecurity.
