Baton
Rouge, La. – The Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center
will hold a graduation ceremony for students participating in the “Eradicating
Food Deserts through the Development of School Gardens” project. The event will
recognize participants from Southern University Laboratory School,
Scotlandville Magnet High School, and Scotlandville Pre-Engineering Academy on Wednesday,
May 4 from 9:00 am – Noon at A. O. Williams Hall. Stephanie Elwood, Extension
Associate serves as Garden Instructor, and Tiffany Franklin, Project Director is
Program Coordinator.
