| SU Trail Ride on US 61 |
Baton Rouge, LA - The Southern
University Ag Center kicks off its 44th Annual Horse Show and Trail ride with
the cowboys trail team rolling along to the M. A. Edmond Arena on US Highway 61
in Baker.
Trail riders from as far as Texas,
Mississippi, and North Louisiana travel to Baton Rouge annually for the event.
The horse parade will gallop around the Baker area with different horse riding
associations on Saturday. Participated in the parade will include riders of all
ages. Local entertainers will be on hand to perform at the event. The gates
opened at 12:00 noon today. Gate fees are: $20 for the weekend; $10 for Friday;
and $15 for Saturday.
