Baton Rouge, La – Adell Brown, executive vice chancellor and
vice chancellor for research at Southern University Agricultural Research and
Extension Center has accepted an invitation to speak at Plymouth Rock Baptist
Church of Plaquemine as part of the annual Martin Luther King’s birthday
celebration. The program will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Jan.
20 at the Plymouth Rock Baptist Church of Plaquemine, 58830 Iron Farm Road,
Plaquemine, Louisiana. Brown’s speech will be entitled “Celebrating our Past
and Being Watchful of our Present.”
The
event is organized by the Iberville Parish Ministers’ Conference headed by Reverend
Lee T. Wesley.
