SU Ag Center to Hold Proposal Writing Seminar

BATON ROUGE, LA, 4/20/2011 - The Southern University Ag Center will hold a seminar on Developing a Strong Winning Proposal, May 25, from 9 am-11 am, in A.O. Williams Hall, room 191. This free educational event is open to the public.

Topics to be covered include: Understanding Government Procurement Instruments; Effectively Responding to Request for Government Proposal; What Today’s Winning Proposal Looks Like; Exchanges/Communication with Contracting Officer; Best Value to the Government; How the Government Evaluates Proposals; Proposal Conferences; Helpful Hints Regarding Writing Proposals; Things to Avoid in Proposal Writing; and Developing Your Cost and Pricing.
